Crisis, Mental Health And Social Service Resources
Suicide Crisis Helpline: This is a nationwide resource for those who are having thoughts of suicide or know someone who is. It is available 24 hours daily, every day of the year, by phone and text at 988. The website is https://988.ca/

Crisis Centre: This site offers information for two services.
BC Suicide Prevention and Intervention Line is a resource for those who are having thoughts of suicide or know someone who is and is available to BC residents 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The number is 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433).
BC Mental Health & Crisis Response is for those in a crisis who want resources, support and information on various mental health topics. The number is 310-6789. The website for both is https://www.crisiscentre.bc.ca/get-support/crisis-lines/
​Kids Help Phone: This site offers a safe space for youth to get information, resources, and support for their mental health. There are also ways for them to connect with other youth and professionals to speak with. The crisis numbers for youth to contact someone immediately for support are 1-800-668-6868 or text 686868.
